In todays world every thing of our lives revolves around this thing called computer ....there will be a day soon when even the human body can be controlled with computers.
COmputers will make einstiens out of ordinary people....I can remember even 6 years ago they were not so much part of everyday life as they aee now...Well it is irreversible now and has its pros and cons

Errr, I wish I would have seen this before we just launched our new WP site. What did you mean when you said community? I know WP has the buddy press plug-in but I'm still looking for a better community solution.

Love it! Yeah, it was a clumsy set up at best. I was like screw this, I'm going to plug a jar proof cd player into my cigarette lighter. Oh, but wait, now cars dont even have those anymore... well, actually not all... but what a hunk o junk idea. Glad things have smoothed out tho.
Love your post, and pix!! Thanks, new subber here.

Science states that energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can only be converted from one form to another. Time and money seems to hold true to that same maxim.

Take a look at GTD Timer - it supports David Allen's Two Minute rule as well as many other techniques for GTD followers like Pomodoro Technique.
It is highly customizable, optimized for control with keystrokes and has unique feature called "presets".

I agree with you Karen. I think a little of both would be ideal. Too much of anything is an imbalance and that just wont work ... long term anyway.

The old time verses money equation again. The best time saver I have found is the ability to say "no".
It's a lot easier to go from no to yes, than the other way around.
A good line is: "no, I can't do that for you at the moment, but I'll have a think about and get back you you if I change me mind."

I am currently using wordpress but I think i am going to check out b2evolution. I am not a extreme blogger so it doesn't really matter to me. I guess i just pick it if i like the look and functionality of it.

How I wish I could earn enough to buy a BMW, and also that the iPod car integration in that was superb (else, it would be a tad less impressive ;) ). I have bought a few iPod car integration units, all of them have been rather pathetic. So I have given up. Thanks for being so candid.

Unfortunately, I think the reason why everything has become much more efficient, so to speak, is because of technology as well as how fast it is becoming. Since technology is allowing us to get work done at an astonishing speed, so must our work effort be increased as well to meet demands. Personally, I would say that Guy 2 would get my vote, but I would love to see Guy 1's skills be tested

Does it have to be Windows App? I use Nozbe and although it is a web app, I can access from just about any type of computer, from anywhere, including any smart phone.
It closely follows GTD with Projects, Contexts, Next Actions, and Inbox.
Nozbe has a great feature of allowing you to email yourself tasks (or forward emails) to your to do list.
Additionally, you can bulk enter your tasks.
There is an offline version in the works, but not yet released. When that happens, it should answer all of your requirements.
